- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'sysdiag64.exe' = '"%APPDATA%\sysdiag64.exe"'
- [<HKCU>\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'sysdiag64.exe' = '"%APPDATA%\sysdiag64.exe"'
Creates the following files on removable media:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
- <Drive name for removable media>:\{Administr\sysdiag64.exe
Malicious functions:
Creates and executes the following:
- %APPDATA%\sysdiag64.exe
Injects code into
the following system processes:
- <SYSTEM32>\ctfmon.exe
- System
- %WINDIR%\Explorer.EXE
a large number of user processes.
Hides the following processes:
- <SYSTEM32>\dwwin.exe
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- %APPDATA%\sysdiag64.exe
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
- <Drive name for removable media>:\{Administr\sysdiag64.exe
- %APPDATA%\sysdiag64.exe
