Malicious functions:
To bypass firewall, removes or modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKLM>\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\SharedAccess\Parameters\FirewallPolicy\StandardProfile\AuthorizedApplications\List] '%TEMP%\systm.exe' = '%TEMP%\systm.exe:*:Enabled:systm.exe'
Creates and executes the following:
- '%TEMP%\systm.exe'
Executes the following:
- '<SYSTEM32>\netsh.exe' firewall add allowedprogram "%TEMP%\systm.exe" "systm.exe" ENABLE
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- %TEMP%\3638D.dmp
- %TEMP%\dw.log
- %TEMP%\systm.exe
Miscellaneous:
Searches for the following windows:
- ClassName: 'Shell_TrayWnd' WindowName: '(null)'
- ClassName: 'Indicator' WindowName: '(null)'
