To bypass firewall, removes or modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKLM>\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\SharedAccess\Parameters\FirewallPolicy\StandardProfile] 'EnableFirewall' = '00000000'
To complicate detection of its presence in the operating system,
forces the system hide from view:
- hidden files
blocks execution of the following system utilities:
- Registry Editor (RegEdit)
blocks the following features:
- User Account Control (UAC)
Creates and executes the following:
- '%WINDIR%Directory\ext.exe'
- '%WINDIR%Directory\ext.exe' (downloaded from the Internet)
Terminates or attempts to terminate
the following user processes:
- chrome.exe
Modifies settings of Windows Explorer:
- [<HKCU>\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer] 'NoSaveSettings' = '00000001'
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- %HOMEPATH%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\U98D4X8H\ext[1].crx
- %WINDIR%Directory\fakdahljemjliginkgdehfoocmjgloam.crx
- %WINDIR%Directory\update.xml
- %WINDIR%Directory\ext.exe
- %TEMP%\aut1.tmp
- %TEMP%\vnijakv
- %HOMEPATH%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\KHMHGZ4F\ext[1].exe
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- %WINDIR%Directory\update.xml
- %WINDIR%Directory\fakdahljemjliginkgdehfoocmjgloam.crx
Deletes the following files:

- %TEMP%\aut1.tmp
