- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'Java' = 'system.exe'
Malicious functions:
Creates and executes the following:
- <SYSTEM32>\qawsed.exe
- <SYSTEM32>\system.exe 308 "<Full path to virus>"
- <SYSTEM32>\qawsed.exe (downloaded from the Internet)
Executes the following:
- %WINDIR%\regedit.exe /S %TEMP%\1.reg
- <SYSTEM32>\cmd.exe /c c:\a.bat
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- %HOMEPATH%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\KHMHGZ4F\homo[1].jew
- <SYSTEM32>\qawsed.exe
- <SYSTEM32>\system.exe
- C:\a.bat
- %TEMP%\1.reg
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- <SYSTEM32>\system.exe
Deletes the following files:
- %TEMP%\1.reg
Deletes itself.
