Modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKCU>\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'WinAdom' = '%WINDIR%\WinAdm.exe'
Creates the following files on removable media:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
- <Drive name for removable media>:\mike.exe
Malicious functions:
Executes the following:
- <SYSTEM32>\shutdown.exe -s -t 15 -c "Windows Fatal Error"
- <SYSTEM32>\shutdown.exe -s
Attempts to shut down the Windows operating system.
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- %WINDIR%\WinAdm.exe
Deletes the following files:
- <SYSTEM32>\hal.dll
Miscellaneous:
Searches for the following windows:
- ClassName: 'Indicator' WindowName: ''
- ClassName: 'Shell_TrayWnd' WindowName: ''
