To ensure autorun and distribution:
Modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'WindowsCMD' = '"<SYSTEM32>\iedkcs32t.exe" primary'
Creates the following files on removable media:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
- <Drive name for removable media>:\Nueva_carpetaa.exe
Malicious functions:
To complicate detection of its presence in the operating system,
blocks execution of the following system utilities:
- Windows Task Manager (Taskmgr)
- Registry Editor (RegEdit)
Executes the following:
- <SYSTEM32>\attrib.exe +h +s +r <SYSTEM32>\iedkcs32t.exe
- <SYSTEM32>\attrib.exe +h +s +r e:\autorun.inf
- <SYSTEM32>\attrib.exe -h -s -r e:\autorun.inf
Sets a new unauthorized home page for Windows Internet Explorer.
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- <SYSTEM32>\iedkcs32t.exe
- C:\Nueva_carpetaa.exe
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- <SYSTEM32>\iedkcs32t.exe
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
