Modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKCU>\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] '' = 'C:\Documents and Settings\taskhost.exe -quiet'
- [<HKCU>\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] '' = '<Current directory>\taskhost.exe -quiet'
Creates the following files on removable media:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
- <Drive name for removable media>:\taskhost.exe
Malicious functions:
Creates and executes the following:
- <Current directory>\taskhost.exe
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- C:\taskhost.exe
- C:\Documents and Settings\taskhost.exe
- C:\Documents and Settings\shell.dat
- <Current directory>\taskhost.exe
- <Current directory>\shell.dat
- C:\autorun.inf
Miscellaneous:
Searches for the following windows:
- ClassName: 'Shell_TrayWnd' WindowName: ''
- ClassName: 'MS_WINHELP' WindowName: ''
- ClassName: 'Indicator' WindowName: ''
