In order to make your anti-virus protection even more reliable the Virus Monitoring Service of Doctor Web collects and analyses samples of malware from all over the world. You can also participate in improving anti-virus security. Use the web-form below to submit a file you consider suspicious or clean erroneosly detected by the heuristic analyzer or by Origins Tracing.

Analysts from the Virus monitoring service have to work with hundreds of submissions every day. Unfortunately, some of submitted files turn out to be clean which means that virus monitoring staff do vain work time after time. Please, try to make sure that a file you are going to send us can really be a virus.

Sometimes several users send the same virus for analysis. It also adds to the workload of our laboratory. In such cases an entry added to the Dr.Web virus database is based on a submission of the first user.

An automatic preprocessing system makes processing of submissions faster. Efficiency of the system strongly depends on the correct choice of a category according to which submissions are sorted. Submissions containing viruses that have been sent by other users earlier and have already been added to the virus database will be processed automatically. A corresponding report will be generated and sent to a user.
