- [<HKCU>\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'Mozilla Firefox.exe' = '%WINDIR%\Mozilla Firefox.exe'
Creates the following files on removable media:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\12996976.exe.lnk
- <Drive name for removable media>:\75482021.exe
- <Drive name for removable media>:\12996976.exe
Malicious functions:
Creates and executes the following:
- '%APPDATA%\Win\Mozilla Firefox.exe'
- '%WINDIR%\Mozilla Firefox.exe'
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- %APPDATA%\Win\Mozilla Firefox.exe
- %TEMP%\melt.txt
- %WINDIR%\pp.exe
- %WINDIR%\Mozilla Firefox.exe
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\75482021.exe
- <Drive name for removable media>:\12996976.exe
Deletes the following files:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\12996976.exe.lnk
