Malicious functions:
Creates and executes the following:
- '%APPDATA%\filter.exe'
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- %APPDATA%\filter.exe
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\.exe
- %APPDATA%\filter.exe
Miscellaneous:
Searches for the following windows:
- ClassName: 'Indicator' WindowName: '(null)'
- ClassName: 'Shell_TrayWnd' WindowName: '(null)'
