Malicious functions:
Creates and executes the following:
- '<SYSTEM32>\iexplorer.exe'
Executes the following:
- '<SYSTEM32>\reg.exe' add "HKLM\software\microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run" /v LoadOrderVerification /t REG_SZ /d <SYSTEM32>\iexplorer.exe /f
- '<SYSTEM32>\cmd.exe' /c %WINDIR%\merissi.bat
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- %WINDIR%\merissi.bat
- <SYSTEM32>\SchedLgUt.Txt
- <SYSTEM32>\iexplorer.exe
- <SYSTEM32>\Grpvinc.cpe
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\Autorun.inf
Deletes the following files:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\Autorun.inf
